Default palm zire m150-no touch screen function

I've soft and hard reset my Palm and still have no stylus or screen response and can't hot sync or go anywhere except the calendar. Also About a month ago all the data on my computer Palm calendar was lost (about 10 years worth) and I had re enter all the dates that I could remember going forward. Could it be that it went on memory overload and deleted all the data?

Just curious, how are you getting to the calendar? (via tapping the screen or hardware buttons?)
It could be a bad digitizer on your lcd which I could help you replace if you needed it.

I've never heard of that happening, but what happened prior to the data erasing? Did the device crash? Or just one day you turned it on and that data was gone?

Also, have you synchronized your device with your computer? If so you should be able to restore the data with a hotsync.

I actually logged onto the computer one day on the Palm Calendar and all the data was gone, about 10 years of appointments and meetings past and future. Unfortunately I let the battery die on my hand held and when I charged it up it froze up. I've recreated my calendar on the computer as best I can for future appointments but my hand held has no response at all. When you turn it on, it says "Use stylus to tap center of target" but there is no response when you do it or push any of the 4 buttons. Again I've done the hard and soft reset, no change.

Well if you've done a fresh hard reset and the touchscreen is still not responsive then you have a hardware issue, likely the digitizer (don't think it would respond to the other hardware buttons while it is in calibration mode).
So I sent you a PM with information you want help repairing your unit.

Now concerning the software side - it's pretty strange that you both lost the data on your desktop, and at the same time the handheld failed, unless you synced it before the failure without realizing the data was lost. But I guess you can always count of good old Murphy .

Anyways it's possible that the data is still there but your palm desktop is loading another user. So check what users are available in your system and make sure the correct one is loading up by default.

Also if this is Windows XP or above you might be able to restore to an earlier system restore point, and get back the data that way.
