Is My Zire 72 Dead?

I hadn't used my Z72 in a while(Didn't recharge) and it was really low on battery now it won't start up. I let it charge all night. - The green light is always on, is that normal?What Should I do? And another question- is it okay to take the blue stuff because mine is chipped everywhere(Silver bits showing). Thanks for the help.

Try a soft reset, that should wake the Palm up. If it doesn't wake up, try two or three soft resets in rapid succession. If the Palm still won't power up, connect the AC adaptor, and then try another soft reset. The soft reset with the AC adapter should reset the charging circuit. You may have to let the unit charge for 15 - 30 minutes after the soft reset with the AC connected.

...It still doesn't work
I tried it and let it charge for about 7 hours! it still doesn't work I'm going to try again but maybe i'll have to send it in for repairs. Does anyone know if i could sell it to get refurbished anywhere? Thanks

Call Palm support and tell them they need to replace it because of the blue surface coming off. Depending upon how long you've had it, they just might!
