Hello, and welcome to Brighthand.
You should be able to look here and read thru the threads for info to help you. I only searched the Zire71 forum, so if you want more sources, use the Search feature on the left side of the page (keyword: itunes) and search all forums.
Regards,
Lauren

No there isn't, and there almost certainly never will be.
I have a Zire 71 and I wanted to listen to iTunes Store music. I solved it by buying an iPod.

Well, actually, you can, in a way.
But you have to burn the music to an audio CD and re-rip it as MP3 or OGG (preferably OGG). Then there's no DRM and you can do as you please. There will be a slight loss in quality with the decompression and recompression, but it's not that bad...
And even if you get an iPod like the previous person, you still may want to play those songs on the Zire...

The question was if there is a way to play AACs from the iTunes Store on a Palm, not whether these files can be converted into some other format that might work. My response is correct.

Now Now...
You are both correct Iganavia says that they can be converted and played yes this does work. Guest says that they cant and yes pure .AAC files cant be used on a Palm .
