Transferring of Files

I am attempting to transfer Audio files from Audible Manger on my desktop. At various points during the transfer I hear a beep from the Zire71 and a messgae appears that the connection is broken and I need to abort transfer. It appears to me that my handheld is cycling on and off why in the cradle. I have attempted to hold the handheld down while doing a transfer but that doesn't seem to help any. So, why await an answer from Palm Support I also ask my fellow users for an answer. Thanks

Is the transfer that you are attempting a lengthy procedure? Are you storing the audible files on an SD card or in the handheld? If you are using an SD card, is this an operation that could be done using a card reader? If so, it would greatly speed up the process, and the cradle wouldn't be involved. Also, I've found that connections get lost if a screensaver starts up on the PC during any kind of transfer. (I turn the SS off until I'm finished if the process is lengthy. )

I have used the Audible OTIS that I received to transfer the files to. When I insert the sd card into the Palm, and open Audible I find that the program (Audible) sees no files.
