2 Machine Hot Sync

Let me lead by saying thanks for the response on the connectivity question. I wanted to know if anyone has sync their Zire 71 between 2 computers with different OSs. Right now I'm only syncing to my 2k laptop. I would like to synch it to my MAC OS X box. Has anyone done this? or Can I expect to have some issues?

I've never done it, but I, like many people, sync both at work and home, but I'm running XP at both places. But I don't imagine there would be a problem for you.

You can sync between Mac and PC just as easily as between two machines of the same OS.

Sometimes depending on where you modify data you can get duplicate records. But after a few times you should get the hang of it.

I sync between my home PC and work PC daily, without any problems.

The most important thing to find out is if your applications are capable of syncing to more than one PC.

All of the built-in apps handle multiple-PC synchronization flawlessly. Most commercial productivity software will also handle this without problems.

One notable exception is DataViz's Beyond Contacts. The website specifically states that multiple-PC syncing is not supported. I use Chapura's KeySuite instead, which does support multiple-PC syncing.
