Help! How do I change my PIM back to Palm Desktop instead of Outlook 97!

Help! I am having some problems with my repeating appointments in Outlook '97 so I want to change my PIM back to the Palm Desktop Datebook. How do I do this? I can't find any info on how to change back!!

Help, Help! Need info ASAP - going on vacation.

Reinstall the desktop. One reinstall option is to change the initial settings (I believe, if I remember right!) Or, use the 'repair' option. Neither changes the back-ups, other conduits, etc.

It's not giving me any options to change the PIM. It just goes straight to hotsync. And then it syncs with outlook again. Now I've lost the info I transferred to the palm desktop. Any other ideas?

When you are reinstalling from the CD be sure to choose the Advanced installation option since this is where you choose whether or not to use Palm Desktop or Outlook.

With the stupid new installer (modify/repair/remove) you need to uninstall (remove) then re-install.

About the 4th or so screen you're given the PIM options.
