Tasks not showing up on main screen

After I have set upa task and then go back to the main calender screen it has today's date but at the bottom it has no task do but when I click on it it goes to all the tasks that I have HOw do I get them on the main calander screen working for hours on it !!!!!

Did you assign a Due Date to the Task? Is that date today or tomorrow?

What application are you using ? The standard calendar ?
Have you already checked the preferences for that to make certain it should show the task ?
As DT suggests: is it a dated task ?

yes the standard calander and did check the prefferinces and it is set for tommorows date

I just went back in and deleted all tasks and created 2 new ones one with Sat date and one with Sunday they still do not show up on main calander screen it says no tasks due and as check amrk in front of it thanks agrivated kansas00

I think everyone is confused about your questions because you are not stating what apps you are using correctly.

I gather you are adding an appointment in the calendar app and it is not showing up in the agenda view???

Go to the menu, options, display options and set it up to display whatever you want for the different views.

It is all explained in the manual, the online info and help files.

I think that the Agenda View only shows Tasks that are due today or overdue tasks.
Well, I'm supossing that you have checked the 'Show due tasks' Option.

You might want to check out a software called Datebook 5 that is available at www.pimlicosoftware.com as it has the ability to do what you are looking for which is to show Tasks (they are called ToDos in Datebook 5 but they come from the Tasks App) that are due in the future.
