How do I alphabetize memos?

My Zire 31 was needing a soft reset quite often, so I did a hard reset (I believe that is the correct term -- it wiped it clean) after which I hotsynced to restore all data. It still needs a soft reset now and then (maybe once a week), but not nearly as often.

But now my lists of memos in each category are in some crazy order. They used to be alphbetical, which makes it much easier to find things. I've tried fixing them on the desktop (where things are alphabetically listed -- go figure) but in the handheld they are in scrambled order. Accessing and even changing individual memos does not change the order.

How can I fix this? Thanks.

I'm not sure how it is on the Zire 31, but on my old IIIxe, I would go into Memo, select Options from the dropdown memo, select Preferences, and Sort by: Alphabetic (the other option is Manual).

EDIT: Looks like it's the same on my TX.

Yep, while in Memos, open the menu, select Options, and then select Alphabetic from the drop-down list. Done.

Now all I need to know is why the darn thing needs soft reset so often. I'm down to about once a week.
