Just received it today; I have a few questions
I just got a Zire 21 today. It was free with a new computer I bought, so you can't beat the price.
2 questions:
On the internet it looks like the current palm OS version of the Zire 21 is 5.2.1...How do I find out what my version is? When I go to Abut Applications I get Applications v4.5.1
I have downloaded and installed three games. with all 3 the left button works fine, but the right button moves to the left also. Tetris, Pac-Man, Pong. Any ideas?

You can find the version number of Palm OS by doing the following:On the internet it looks like the current palm OS version of the Zire 21 is 5.2.1...How do I find out what my version is?
1. Tap the 'Home' icon.
2. Tap the 'Menu' icon.
3. Choose the 'Info' menu item from the 'App' menu.
4. Tap the 'Version' button at the bottom of the Info screen.
Near the top of the display you should see the string 'Palm OS software v. 5.2.1'.
Unlike the majority of Palm handhelds, the Zire and Zire 21 only have two of the four standard application buttons. On a four button Palm, the Date Book and Address Book button are located to the left of the up and down scroll buttons. You will need to set the game prefs to remap the Address Book button to move to the right.all 3 the left button works fine, but the right button moves to the left also. Tetris, Pac-Man, Pong. Any ideas?

Thanks,
You say I need to remap the address book button in the game preferences.
Is this something I can set system wide? In tetrix for example, the menu has only:
Game
- New Game
- Show Scores
Help
- Instructions
- About
There is nowhere in these options to set the buttons.

The ability to set prefs is based on a pref app basis. If the game doesn't have the option, then you can't reset it.
Palm OS has a getting for which applications can be bound to the hardware buttons. To set that preference, launch the Prefs application, can go to the Buttons area.
