Address book not synching

I can't seem to get my address book to synch. I have entered it both ways pc and on handheld to no avail. Any help is appreciated.

Hello neverdull9.

Are you receiving any error messages either on the Palm or the desktop computer? If not, take a look at the HotSync log, and see if there are any error messages there.

You should also verify that the Address Book conduit is listed in the Palm HotSync Manager. If it is not there, you should reinstall Palm Desktop. Whne you reinstall, install on top of your existing version.

I've verified that the Address Book conduit is listed in the Palm HotSync Manager. But the HotSync log is saying, "Outlook Contacts - RS synchronization failed."

What can I do to get the outlook contacts to synchronize? In addition, whatever I put into the Palm desktop software on the pc does not synch with the Palm.

Are you using Chaprua's PocketMirror to synchronize data with Outlook?

If you don't mind, can you post a portion of your HotSync log here which contains a complete HotSync session with the error?
