Sim Door Fix
Your hunt for a replacement sim door is futile as Palm can't even help you out. I too suffer the broken door condition but solved the problem with minor surgery. Simply glue the door shut... but I suggest you do this with the back off. ( not hard to do instruction can be found on the net http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2...ry_Code=_TungW ) By removing the back you can change the sim card at will. Now this is not as easy as flipping open a door... but it's better than scrapping a good device.
Good Luck

sim door
I also had a problem with the sim door not closing properly. Also glued it shut. Seems to have worked.

Sim Door Fix: my simple solution
I just put crisscrossed Scotch transparent tape across the SIM door (so that it pressed against it and kept the door tight) and it solved my "SIM door" errors.

I tried that also but found with time the tape gave way and had to be replace on a regular basis. If tape is your wish... try duct tape better hold lasts longer.
