My TW experience (SIM door)

Im new in the forum but have followed it since three months ago. Very useful info has been posted here thanks to all. I?ve passed through almost ALL the troubles posted. If youre interested keep reading the tips.
3.- The SIM door is weak in the lower part and breaks easily if opened frequently. Mine after 5 or 6 was almost broken but crazy glue helped a lot. I?ve read a post with similar experience in USA and warranty seems to apply, not in Mexico. Be careful

My experience is that the SIM door is so weak that it breaks regardless of whether you open it or not. I have never opened mine after the initial load. yet four of these doors have broken. And I keep it in a Palm case which is stored within a padded bag.

I keep mine in my pocket, with only a flip cover. Have had the W for 10 months now, haven't broken a SIM door yet.

scotch tape....

Mine broke about a month aftr I got it, and I didn't want to ship my W back to Palm to get it replaced. So in the spirit of all geeky early adopters, I proudly use scotch tape to keep the sucker closed (with an additional suggestion from Abbey and have a bit of tape inside the door to get added presure on the SIM card) It works great.

I have a few spare SIM doors. Email me if you need one. You will need a #6 Torx driver to replace the door.
