Re: system alarm issues

Hi all. I am a recent forumer and wanted to say a big thank you to JungleMike and all other experts for enhancing our T3 experience.
I believe T3's built in gauge, although it adjusts itself somewhat after resetting the voltage, does not behave linearly at the low voltages. Despite the numerous warnings and popups, my T3 with stock battery was indeed able to keep going for a long time after the first battery alarm pops up. I encourage all T3.5 users to keep pushing towards the low voltage barrier as well (of course, back up your data please!)
Having said that, there was a mention back in pg 88 of the monster battery thread about "Profeo SystemAlarm" that may disable the warnings. This is an old program but it appears to wrok for OS5. I am yet to try it myself but hope it helps.
It took me awhile to find the reference so I will just post a direct link to save everyone time:

**edit: if this link does not work, please try searching under "Profeo SystemAlarms 0.6" or try the freewarepalm link by the next poster
Dmitry has come up with a freeware app that works on OS 5

I just got a memory error, could not start application error, after a HotSync.
It became a soft reset loop.
I did warm reset and deleted FullPower 1.03.
Problem fixed.
I re-installed 1.02.......Dean

this looks like a more elegant program than profeo 0.6, which I had some trouble to get it working properly.
many thanks!

Ohhh, thank God for all you masters of Palmdom... LOL!
So, after 8 pages (we need a sticky ,admins!!!), can any conclusions be reached, as in what version is more stable, what other app needs to be used, voltage settings? I'm using a T3 also... no battery mod yet...
Thanks!Viva Puerto Rico Libre Y Soberano!

looks like on most T3 Version 1.03 is working great.
Setting seems to be 3,6 V and the app from Dmitry is a nice helper

Re: Re: Re: system alarm issues
Profeo 0.6 isn't the latest version available -- I agree that 0.6 sucks. I have 0.7.6, which not only disables the OS warnings, but you can set your warnings where you want as with .6 and have them come up as silent notifications (alert manager) instead of dialog boxes.Originally posted by jpm0083

Unfortunately I don't know how to point you to a copy of 0.7.6, the developer discusses it on the mytreo.net forums but never provides a link, he tells you to get it on his site on mytreo, which sometimes you can get on and sometimes you can't. I'll try to get a working link and post it later.
EDIT: here's a link to Profeo SystemAlarms 0.7.6. But you have to register as a member of mytreo.net (free) in order to download.

Could someone tell me how to set profeo to fire off the battery alarm at a voltage of 3.67? I am using FullPower to set the cut off to 3.65 on my T3.5.
I must admit that the app is not intuitive to me and there are no instructions in the zip.Save a life, Donate Blood!!!
