Default m130 cradle compatibility with T5?

I hope I don't get flamed for this question but here goes. I own an m130 and I just purchased a T5, I'm sitting here looking at the cradle and wondering if by some slim chance the m130's cradle will work with the T5. No probs if it doesn't but I'm just hoping ya know?. I'm still waiting for my T5, Fedx should have delivered it by 4:30 today but the snow that fell today gave the Fedx guy a rough time, looks like I might be a proud owner of a T5 by tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for any replies. This forum is very informative.

    Hi, Scanner, welcome to Brighthand!
Don't know why anyone would flame you...
In any case, the m130 cradle is not compatible with the T5, the m130 has the Universal Connector, which is not the same connector the T5 has, so none of your m130 accesories will be usable on your T5. Be sure to check whether your T5 has the updated OS, otherwise download and apply the OS update as soon as you set it with your PC, otherwise you will have a lot of problems with your PIM apps and other programs. Here you will find how to check whether your T5 is updated or not, and instructions on downloading and updating your T5, should it be necessary.

    Not exactly.

None of the m130 accessories using the Universal Connector will work with the T5. But any accessories using the infrared port or the SD card slot should work fine.

Thank you very much for the reply and information. Before my m130 I used my hp200lx. I still have the hp, my wife uses it more than I do now. I am so glad I found this forum. I had the T-c ordered at first but I cancelled and ordered the T5 instead. I know it's going to have it's problems with it being new and all but I liked the blue tooth options and the memory availability it offered over the T-c.
Thank you for the heads up on the OS update. That'll be the first thing I do.
