    Default T3 random dead?

So I tried to turn on my T3 today, its been sitting next to my bed on my nightstand the entire time, I used it last yesterday and the battery was ok...

Today it won't even turn on, tried hard reset, soft, cradle reset, nothing works. It won't even turn the charging light on when in the cradle...

Is it just time for a warranty or what's going on?

Could be a broken connection somewhere inside, since it's not charging, but if it's under warranty at all, you should go with the warranty repair.

Also, this shouldn't be happening! Make them fix it. I'd be having fits if my T3 wasn't showing any signs of life...

Any static electricity in your environment? Synthetic carpet? Dry air?

I had a similar problem a few months ago. Out of the blue, my T3 was totally dead one morning. It had the same symptoms as you are describing but I left it on the cradle and it finally had enough juice to power up. It appears that something happens when it totally drains that keeps the light from coming on when you put it on the cradle. Try just leaving it on the cradle a while and then try powering it up.

It happened again about a week later but later I figured out that it was caused by the case I was using, which was putting pressure on the voice recorder button and recording several hours of nothing until the battery drained. I changed the case and it has not happened since.
