New Tomtom update

Tomtom has just released a new update for the Tomtom, version 4.40. It's suppose to have more options with the POI's. Now you can incoporate with other Tomtom's users. Nice features on top of an excellent product.

That link doesn't work for me, but it's easy to find via the support/updates links.

FWIW, it wouldn't install right off the bat for me. I'm not sure if that's because I'm on a new laptop, and maybe didn't have registry entries from before, or if it just doesn't like to install on top of 4.120. Anyway, I just reinstalled the original CDs, to 4.1, then it installed fine.

Still don't know how to use categories from others, but looking into it!

Version 4.4 is listed for the Tom Tom GO, the
standalone product. version for the PalmOne Tom Tom
is still 1.2.

But the 4.4 works anyway? Any noticeable
improvements yet?

There is a 4.4 version of tomtom for palm also. Can't copy the link because of their HTML voodoo, but you can find it easily from the home page: Support -> updates -> tomtom for palm then the first answer listed on that page shows:
