Another sms problem

I have been using my TT and t610 quite successfully with bt for a few months. All of a sudden, I cant send sms messages. I can receive them, I can dial up my ISP and send emails, all the numbers have the international prefix, I have unpaired and re-paired, I have soft reset. When I try and send a message it flashes "sending" for ages and then says it cant connect with the phone even though the "bt in action" icon is visible on the phone.

I guess I can live with sending sms via phone, after all I have been doing it for years, but it is very irritating.

Any (simple!!!) ideas gratefully received!

Have you tried power cycling the T610? Rerunning the PhoneLinkUpdater?

How do I power cycle the t610?

I think I have re-run the phone updater (not sure what you mean by that) as I have un paired and then re-paired and tried to update the settings. I still cant seem to get the 610 driver to appear in the drop down list even though I have installed it on the TT - the t68i driver was working fine until last Sat morning anyway!
