How to get hold of Palmone for technical support?
The problem:
The headphone jack has a lose connection.
The things I tried to resolve my problem:
* check to make sure it is a hardware problem. It is. When I tilt the jack a bit, it works. Must be a lose connection.
* Roamed the palmone site for an adress or phonenumber to send it to/ contact them.
* Found a telephone number, got a very difficult to understand computer voice. It speaks a mixture of dutch and english. after that I get a: "Type in all sort of things questions". Since I'm Dutch, I do not want to send the PDA to the USA or Canada. Unless there is no other way.
* Send an e-mail, didn't get a reply within 12 hours, but got two within 36 hours. Both refering to a link on the palmone site. Which for some mistifying reason just gives a blank screen in Mozilla firefox and IE. They didn't give me the adress for technical support in Holland or Europe. Neither did they give a telephone number. Which was why I wrote the e-mail.
So,... what to do next? Does someone have any suggestions? Or perhaps that telephone number/ adress that is usefull and I am searching for?
My goverment is more transparent than palmone.
AND THAT is dissapointing.

Hi. There we go again: As for all my experience with PalmOne Repair Services and Customer Care in Europe, there is hardly a way to get seriously in contact with them. I live in Germany (being Dutch, though), and in this whole country there is not a single telephone number from PalmOne you can find out.
I wrote several posts about my experiences with PalmOne in this respect, I suggest that you do a search for them if you are interested. There you can also read about my suggestion that this disappointing service can very well be a deliberate strategy of PalmOne.
After getting red hot for anger I finally phoned with a telephone girl at European Headquarters in London. It was the only time I felt halfway understood with what I wanted. The next day, a french speaking woman indeed and stunningly phoned back, assuring me again and again that satisfying its customers is a primary goal of PalmOne, and that there are no real problems with none of Palms devices. Some 24 hours later I received an new Tungsten E.
All of this was no fun at all.
But we shouldn?t blame the devices for all this nonsense. They are innocent

I located this page on the European region site.
Hope of some assistance.
Just a quess, but is it possible that telephone tech support may only be offered via email, since we can not locate telephone numbers for this service?
Also, copy/paste here if you have trouble accessing.

Thank you for your replies.
The phone number from the knowledge libery is the one I mentioned earlier on. So I think I will call their headquarters in the UK instead.
I gave the online support another go, but when you click the links for contact support, you get choose country, then under 'support tools' you can choose any link you like. I tried them all, but after following the steps it will get you to 'computing solutions'. Where you can find a link contact support. This is where we started. It is a viscieuse circel!!!
Oh well, it's probably me. I will try their HQ on monday.
On top of that my browser keeps logging of, which makes posting a reply hell.
