Problems setting up TomTom

Having difficulty setting up my TomTom on my T3. When I try to add the wireless GPS sensor the Palm asks me for a pass key for Tom tom Wireless GPS. Where do I get such a key?

Your passkey should be in the manual, but it's probably 0000.

2. If the passkey is not at

change preferences -> GPS status -> Configure (above the wireless receiver icon)

then you've got a lemon.

Check from the main screen, plan any route, then tap on the "version 4.000" icon in the middle at right. If it shows something like "ver. 4.0000 (100)" then you have the current version. If instead it shows "ver. 4.0000 (9x)", where x is 2 to 5, then you got a lemon and either download the updater from TomTom's website, or ask the retailer for a new set.

This lemon also gives you dataMgr.c fatal error; soft reset wouldn't solve the problem, you have to delete the program, reinstall it, and, of course, lose all your input data.

3. Did you get from J&R.com? Did the seal on the software broken when you received the package?

Sadly, there's no ANY documentation regarding the hardware in the package.

Thank you ever so much. I've literally spent over four hours the past two nights trying to install this thing. There are very poor directions for the software install. I tried to call TomTom today but they never bothered to call me back. People like you really make the internet the place to go for help. Thanks again.
