Need a little more info here...
If "nothing is happening" when you try to turn it on, how do you know that it is indeed fully charged?
And what kind of reset did you try - soft or hard?

I had the same problem. I was luckily still within the return period at Circuit City and exchanged it. So far, so good, with the new one.
With mine, it did come back to life intermittently, then just as intermittently, died again.

hold the power button...
push the thing in back once with stylus while holding the power button..
let go of power button 3 seconds after you push button in back...
Follow directions on screen if you get anything.A book is only as good as your imagination.

Does ANYTHING happen when you try to sync?
If it does, it might be that the screen has lost power or become damaged somehow.
If you have a program installed to prevent the unit from turning on accidentally, you might need to double press the power, or press and hold power to turn it on.
Another thing to try would be to try to wear the batteries down- although I am not sure how you might do this. Just sitting will eventually do it. Once they are dead, try charging and starting over.

I have just had this happen to me. I was checking an address and it auto-offed after the correct time. It will not turn on. It will not react when placed in the cradle. It will not respond to resets. The charge light does work when in the cradle. I am going to contact Palm support, but I wonder if I am SOL.

Sudden Death T3 Syndrome?
I wonder what exactly is going on here.
Did either of you when touching the unit feel any static charge?
