    Angry Wrong Power Supply

Is there any way to recover after plugging in a speaker (12 volt dc 500ma) power supply to a Palm 130?

    Try a hard reset.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but you never know what kind of miracles a user s group comes up with.

I don't know the guts of the 130, but one (or more) of several things happened...

    1. You overwhelmed the charger circuit and built-in protection kicked in to shut off the device.

If so, try a hard reset. If no satisfaction, let it sit and discharge for a couple weeks, then try charging it again.

    2. You fried the battery or built-in circuits. If so, replacing the battery should restore things.

    3. You burnt-out a circuit component in the motherboard. If so, say 'good night, Gracie'.

You can try www.gethightech.com for parts if you want- they were a great place to work with when I needed help.
