Question T3 - pdf files not full size???

I have a T3, and acrobat reader 3.05 for palm os. Does anyone know how to make pdf documents use the full screen (hide input area)?

I'm not at the computer I use Adobe for Palm OS with, but if memory serves, open the Adobe for Palm on your desktop. I think there is a box you click on for best viewing of your particular Palm device. If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll switch computers tomorrow and check it out. Most of your preferences can be set there.

Adobe Reader does not yet support the T3's resolution.

    Default Repligo

Alt to Adobe is Repligo that is so much faster and amazing at the range of documents it will display. It supports full screen and landscape on T3. Check it out. Not free but time is money!

I get a lot of Fatal Alerts when using Repligo in 320x480. Do any of you have these problems?

Another tip about using acrobat... if you open your T3 and then start adobe, the toolbars at the bottom are messed up. leave the T3 closed while using the reader and everything works fine. My problem with Repligo is that you can't see the graphics while the document is "reflowed" and if you just zoom in enough to see the text while in "whole page" mode, it won't scroll correctly. When you jump from page two to page three, for instance, you are zoomed in on page three to the same place you were on page two when you switched pages... not workable for me. I just suffer along with adobe even though it's 320X320 and leave the slider closed.

The developers of Repligo have a long list of future improvements. If they can overcome the "copy into RAM" feature for docs stored in card (sooo long to open for large ones), the flowed versus real layout+images formats, page browsing when in whole page, text search, specific enhancements for PDF documents (indexation)... it will become an essential program. Readability is their strongest point, and that is critical for any PDA-based reader. Whole page is often useless for reading a simple document, but the drag and zoom works very well, and I guess some types of document need to be seen as a whole (some pdfs have a very structured layout).

I use iSilo for html pages, it is more flexible and it also has great readability, you can convert any font you like, and I found good old Arial is really comfortable.

But having so many PDF documents stored for reference on many topics (from software and hardware instructions, including my new BT phone, to glossaries I often use, articles related with my work, etc) Repligo --as it is-- is very useful. I've had no crashes, although i had to reinstall the PC driver once.

So bad for Adobe they're not interested in Palm PDAs.

    Default Repligo

I haven't used it extensively, but am evaluating for keeping clinical guidelines on hand.

Haven't had any problems yet...it's the best thing so far that I've found for moving multiple formats onto T3. I haven't had any issues scrolling from page to page.

I basically need it to put references docs that come in variety of formats. So far so good...am sure I'll run into some of the issues mentioned but it's better than Adobe or most readers I've seen for my purposes. btw, why is ALL software from Adobe so damned slow, whether on PC or PDA?
