Transferring data from my T to T3

    Default Transferring data from my T to T3

    I heard that the data structures for the 4 built in apps are different in T3. What's the best way to migrate my data from my T to my T3?

    Install the new desktop that is included with the T3, remove any TT files from your backup folder like the ausio patch, and hotsync.

    By installing the new desktop, I assume all old PIM data will be converted into the new format. Am I correct?

    I can't remember what files are related to the audio patch. I just look at the list of files again and suspect that the following might be relevant:

    - halsnd_dsplib (creator ID: bdsp)
    - HALSndLib (creator ID: brap)
    - FATFSPatch (creator ID: pFAT)

    Are these the right files to remove? Did I miss anything?

    I'm not sure what the files are, maybe someone else can post the list. you could always download the patch again and see what the palm files are.

    Just upgraded to T3. All files transferred successfuly!
