Best backup program?
After the release of the official Tungsten T3 patch, I've heard a lot about backup applications that backups the data to SD card. Which alternatives are there and which one is the best?
It has probably been brought up before, but considering threads don't last longer than 24 hours in this forum, it's no harm talking about it again.Sincerely,

I have been using BackupBuddy VFS:Free version 2.02 and have not had any problems with it. Blue Nomad says that it isn't OS5 compatible, but I used it with my TT and now with my T3. No problems at all with it, and everything always restores perfectly.

I am using BackUp Man and I really like it's functionality. It includes a flexible automatic back up scheduler and the ability to just restore one file.
Now as long as the patch has cleared up the sector error issues I will be in heaven!________________________

Then what do you backup? The whole internal RAM, filling up a whopping amount of unnecessary megabytes on the card, or just vital files?
A program that displays a list of available applications and databases and subsequently lets me choose which ones to back up would be great. I can't afford offering half of my flash card for a backup, neither can I afford losing important notes, appointments and other vital information.
Sorry for my laziness.Sincerely,

I'm using BBVFS beta for OS5 to backup to the SD card and BackupBuddy on the desktop to backup during Hotsync.
Are these the best? I don't know. But they have never failed me.

I use the standard hotsync + BackupBuddy + BackupBuddyVFS (OS5 beta) + CardBkup.
Plus I backup my SD card to my PC via a USB card reader at least weekly.
Never can have too many backups!

I use cardbackup and it has saved my PDAs several times (since T1)and works with the T3. The current version in 2.0, but there is a beta version on 2.1 which will let us performe selective backup. It also perfoms schedule backups aswell. I really like it and I think it is pretty reliable.
