T|T for $199 just for today at Palm Store
Hello,
I have seen the $199 price tag listed elsewhere on this forum, for T|T, but never really saw that price on any website; until now. Palm store is advertising this deal and saying that it is just for today. If you were looking for a deal to buy the T|T, this is time I think!
Good luck
Here is the link for it http://store.palm.com/home/index****p...nnav_store_img

I'm seriously considering that Tungsten T as my 2nd handheld... I've used an M100 eons ago.
However, COMPUsa's got an HP 1910 for 160 + shipping which equals to about the same...
I know I'm in a board with a SOMEWHAT biased viewpoint, but can anyone give me a QUICK list of pros/cons for Pocket PCs vs. Palms?
I've seen Palm's take on it:
http://www.palmone.com/us/products/c...-pocketpc.html
but again, you got manipulative date... so any personal takes on the two? Thanks in advance!

ugh, "comparisons" like that are meant to stimulate brand loyalty rather than encourage new buyers to purchase a pda.Originally posted by skip2alou

EDIT: sorry, forgot to answer your question. If you try a search on these forums there are many threads dealing with the ppc vs POS issue.\"the future is already here, it\'s just unevenly distributed\" - William Gibson

I had the same dilemma (HP 1910 vs. TT) when I first purchased my TT and what really helped my decision was the user reviews for both products on CNET. Back then over 50% of HP1910 owners did NOT recommend it, while only 5% of TT owners did not recommend it - this is a huge difference.
Though CNET reviews are only posted by the highly satisfied or highly dissatisfied, they're still a good barometer. More importantly, you can read about common problems or complaints people have with something...
TT (94%+, 6%-) (http://reviews.cnet.com/Palm_Tungste...?tag=pdtl-list)
HP1910 (58%+, 42%-) (http://reviews.cnet.com/HP_iPAQ_1910...?tag=pdtl-list)
