Problems with WebPro on TT with BT
Hi
Whenever I start WebPro and after touching the Menu (within WebPro) I'm getting the following Reset message:
Preferences.c Line:266, Pref DB Open Error (Reset)
This had started after I'd installed and started working with BlueTooth on my Nokia 6310i. By the way, I have no such problem with Blazer.
I did not had this problem before when I was working only with by BlueTooth USB dongle.
I have about 4MB of free RAM on my TT.
Please assist

I have both Blazer and WebPro on my TT working via BT and my T68i, so it is possible.
Have you deleted and reinstalled WebPro? It could be just a bad prefs file.

I have had this problem too at times with any programs. What usually fixes it for me is the palm tungsten update patch on palm's website. I think the bluetooth drivers on occasion get screwed up, and hence need to be reinstalled. Tell me if this works for u.

Web Pro
I have had no such issues using my TT2 and T68i with Pro. I just tap the icon and works fine. I followed your steps as you described them in your post as of yet have had no issues that you had described.
I would have to take the posts side about a bad preference file that maybe got copied. I would go back and delete WebPro off your Palm then check the "information" from your menu at the top in application mode. Look for anything that looks like it relates to WebPro - delete. Then reinstall everything again.Regards,

I used to get the same problem. The problem is that your preferences database gets corrupted. Apparently there are quite a few programs/drivers out there that do this. For me, it happened (it appears) to be a driver for a Belkin keyboard I bought. I had to just do a hard reset and reinstall my apps one by one to find out which one it was. I'd look for any apps that communicate externally (like a keyboard) and open up a "virtual" serial port. I thought Palm support was just being a pain about this when they told me I had to reinstall everything one program at a time to narrow it down. Grudgingly, though, I did it and now it works fine (except for Web Browser Pro causing soft resets on occasion).

It is probabely the corrupted proferences DB.
I'll try to re-install apps one by one and let you know which application is to be blamed
