Default T|T end of the line, or just end of v1.0?,

A person ("tersiocity") that claims to have contacts at Palm says that Palm will prodeuce no more TTs when the current parts supply is used up.

This is the second rumor I've heard. Does this mean a T|T2 (judgement day) is just around the corner, or is the TT line no more?

I don't like thumboards. If they do stop the TT line, I hope plans are to keep at least one Graffiti only model in their lineup.

Hi Slotmachine, good to see you back. However, being away, you won't have noticed that this rumour has already been passed around Brighthand.

I'm certain of it. I had a chance to chat with a PSG partner recently and they confirmed that PSG already showed the TT2 to them. They were under NDA so I couldn't get any information.

Hope it has the same build as the current T|T, though... would be a shame to waste my vaja i-volution if I bought up.

I'd imagine that there won't be a slider. I think that Palm wanted to see how the public responded to it, I.E. Qlaunch Graffiti Anyware and Slide Free. Now they know that the public accepts the Idea of no grafiti pad and they can do away with the slider. I like the 320*320 screen more than my 240*320 Axim Screen. I too hope its the same general design.

I like th slider and just imagine a TT with virtual graffiti !!!, use all the screen to get a much wider screen for spreadsheets, presentations or videos, or keep it small for regular use. That would be great.

That's good news. How recent did they show it?

I like the dimensions and heft of the current TT. What I would like for TT2
    Must have:
    - Transflective dispay
    - Same form factor
    - Same or better battery life

    Would be nice:
    - Faster processor for background mp3 palyback
    - WiFi

By the way, I hate you for turning me on to that i-volution case!

I personally would like a T|T with two screens... yes, two. A 320^2 one and a 320*160 one. They would be laid out next to each other, with the 320^2 one in place of the current T|T's screen, and the 160*320 one in place of the T|T's graffiti area. That means that when the slider is closed, the small screen that acts as the graffiti area can be totally turned off, thus saving battery power. As soon as you open the slider, the small screen would turn on, meaning combined with the main screen, you would have effectively a 320*480 screen.
