It is suprising to me that using Digifix and Digime at the same time works better. I would think these two apps basically do the same thing.
I just loaded Digime by itself to see if that help the problem. I am more than happy to try loading both applications, but I will wait a few days to see how it goes with just Digime.
Anyone else running both calibration applications at the same time?

Running Digime alone did not do the trick. My screen is still getting out of alignment after a few days.
I am now installing Digifix too. Hopefully the combination of both applications will solve the problem!

The software packages did not work for me. My screen was still going out of alignment even with Digifix and DigiMe installed and running.
I am just completing my call with Palm support. They are sending me an advanced replacement for my T2 which should hold me over for another 6 months.
Do I have any chance of getting a T2 that will not develop digitizer drift within 6 months? I doubt it, but by then maybe I will be ready to move to a newer Palm.
ps: Is PalmOne support handled at of India now? My last 2 calls where both handled by gentlemen with Indian accents. They were both very helpful too.

outsource, digitizer
I believe that palm has begun to outsource.
On the digitizer issue, lately, both haven't been working for me either. I wrote about how I permanantly fixed the problem in this thread. It did require disassembly but I will post some pic soon. I'll probably end up starting a new thread so it will get more traffic from people who want to fix it. I just don't want to post pictures until I am absolutely SURE that the problem will not re-emerge.

I had the digitiser problem - and also my power button had stopped working. This meant I could not do a hard reset. So my TT went in for repair/replacement. (I have used an M500 for YEARS with no digitiser problems. I suspect the slider mechanism and/or a loose connection inside)
Palm replaced my TT with one that would not charge. So that has gone back, too. Next Monday it will be a fortnight since I sent them my TT. Anyone know a good phone number for support in the UK? For someone who can DO something to get a replacement issued properly?

This is a worldwide problem - I am now on my second refurb, I sent the first one back because it was almost as bad as my original and I have had this new one for a week and, like you, have the on/off switch problem so will probably have to send it back too. I dont get any joy from the Aussie Palm people who are outsourced to the Philipines. Grrrrrrr! Whilst I love my Palm and what it can do, I do hate being so dependent on it for all my workstuff!

waiting for T2 replacement
I called Palm on Mar 18. They set up an advanced replacement which was supposed to arrive in 1 to 3 days. A week later and I am still waiting.
According to a conversation today with Palm Corp Customer service the repair depot is backlogged on T2s.
I am supposed to get the replacement by Mar 29 !
So we have a flawed design and LONG lead times on getting replacement units. This stinks! This issue has got to be costing PalmOne a lot of money!
I have an extended warranty and think I will be replacing my Palm every 4 to 6 months.

T2 on its way
A few hours after my call to Palm Corporate customer support I got the following email:
Dear Scott:
Your order has been shipped 09:55pm - 03-26-04 to you at the following address:
bottom line: it helps to call!
I can only hope this T2 replacement works okay!
