Voice memo help
I recorded a speech on my 256mb lexar card and tried to hotsync back to computer so I could hear it louder and it did not show up on my palm desktop voice memo. But when I recorded without card it did so, how do I get to listen to it from card onto my computer's palm desktop? Thanks in advance for answering!
Hmm?

Download a tool like SyncWizard or CardExport and play it directly off the card like it was in a card reader.

...Or you could just buy a <$20 card reader, and use your card for other things as well.
You just have to navigate to the "Audio" directory.
I wish Palm gave you the option to sync your WAV audio files on the card to the desktop. It does't make much sense to record to the tiny 14 MB on your handheld (WAVs are so big).-Gbob

Or you could just open the memo and change the category to something other than your card - that'll move to RAM. After HotSync, you can re-categorize it.

I have a Lexar USB card reader bought from your friendlly local Wal-Mart for under $20. It reads both mmc and sd. And I run Win98 with it and so far *knock wood* works great. The only problem I have with it is, because I am on a network and run an external cd burner, my machine runs out of assignments for drives so when I use the card reader, I cant get on the network. Not a big deal as I dont use it all the time...
I'm sure I could tweak Win98 to get around the problem but I just connect/disconnect the USB card reader as I need it..
Hope this helps you.
