Default Still have a keyboard issue even after downloading driver.

I appreciate everybodys response to my TungT / Portable Keyboard issue. I downloaded the Beta driver "keyboard19Beta.zip" and still have the same problem. When I select "activate keyboard" this is the message that pops up immediately....

    FATAL ALERT
util.c, Line: 1023, No serial library
    RESET

The only option is to select reset and start over.

I tried to reinstall the keyboard software and the driver again. I read somewhere that it will not work on a card. I did not see anything on my card so I took it out and redid everything again, to no avail. The interesting thing is that I tried to "Delete" the keyboard software from my Tung T and it would Not let me delete it. I could not find anything anywhere on this particular FATAL ALERT.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks.... Alan

You are still running your old driver, probably because you can't disable it or delete it.

Warm reset the TT (see manual), Tap the Applications icon, choose Delete and press 'k'. Delete keyboard.prc. Now load the new driver.

Note that it is a *warm* reset, not a soft or a hard reset. You should not lose your data but as always, better back up just in case! If you have a card, cardbackup is perfect.

Excellent Jorgen! That was definitely the answer. All I need to do now is to memorize the keyboard shortcuts.

    Thanks again.... Alan
