    Default Mobipocket's installation files

    Hi,
I use a Palm Tungsten T, and installed Mobipocket version 5.3 (mobipocket reader 5.3).

It installed the reader on my desktop and I had to click on the "reading devices" in the Mobipocket reader to "install new device". I made a hotsync and it was all easy and great.

My question is - now that Mobipocket is gone (Amazon shut it down), will I be able to install Mobipocket on other desktop computers for other Palm pilots from the installation files I have already?

I'm asking because during the hotsync to "install new device" for the Tungsten T, I had to go through two steps. I had to "install new device", and "update and sync" in the enews tab. During both processes, it said it was "Downloading files" to do the installation.

My concern is - I want to be able to use Mobipocket years from today, and if I don't have the installation files because they're hosted on some external server, and the server stops providing access to those files, it won't work.

I'm only interested in a standalone installation.

Do I have all the necessary files? Did the msg. it was "downloading" just refer to the desktop activity?

Update 1: If there are installation files on my desktop that were downloaded during the installation, that I need for future installations (standalone), where are they so I can back them up?
