Move app from "Device" to "Internal"
Is there a way to move an installed app from the memory area dedicated to "Device" to the memory area dedicated to "Internal" on a T5?
Seems I have all this space on one, not so much on the other, and without doing a re-install, no easy way to balance these a bit better.
(I searched the forums but got back >300 hits based on my best search criteria. Sorry, but if anyone wants to point me to a better search result, that would be fine.)Why, I've got muscles in my head I haven't even used yet!

Re: Move app from "Device" to "Internal"
While I was waiting for someone to notice my lonely little posting, I experimented and discovered how to do this.
In case anyone wants to know, the steps are:
From the Home (Applications) screen, select the menu and then "Copy."
Use this tool to copy the application from Device to Internal.
Tap "done."
From the Home (Applications) screen, select the menu and then "Delete."
Delete the app from the "Device." (And tap "done.")
Then remember that you will only see it from the Home (Applications) screen if you remember to change the "category" to "Internal."
(I've never had to do this before.
)

Re: Move app from "Device" to "Internal"
It's sort of a crap shot when it comes to whether a particular app. will accept residing in your Internal memory versus your Device memory. You can also experiment with a file manager like Filez(put the app in Palm/Launcher folder..just make sure you have a current backup before you do...just in case. If you use Zlauncher there is a great function that frees up device space for apps that might not be so accepting: Just long press on the particular icon of the app you want to move. A menu will pop up and you'll want to chose the move app. Zlauncher will then give you the choice of moving to Internal card or External card. After you make the choice you will see that the Icon has a * next to it...sort of a shortcut aka windoz. I don't mind this setup at all on my T5. But some people might not like the delay in launching the app(which can be very noticeable with larger files). However it is very easy to return the app back to the device..you just long press again and choose move to ram.

Re: Move app from "Device" to "Internal"
Thank you. I thought about using FileZ to do it as well but decided to see if I could find an "all natural" way to do it. (Using only the apps that were on the machine. Seemed there had to be a way to do so.)
