Does this mean Tungsten E does not use the Bluetooth card??
Correct. palmOne sells a Bluetooth SD card but there is no Palm OS 5 driver for it, only a Palm OS 4 one. There are no plans to write a Palm OS 5 driver, either. This comes stright from a palmOne VP I talked to.

No I know the T|E works with bluetooth. I've read on a few sites that it does in fact work. I think it's the international version only but luckily this is the version I have!

It's only the PalmOne card that works. I'm not sure, but I'm buying the bluetooth card soon enough.

I also have the international version of the T|E. Let us know if the PalmOne Bluetooth works with your T|E.

The question really boils down to "Is it worth it?"
Pouring $80 into a PDA whose processor isn't even multi-threaded just so you can play some games with your friends wirelessly and hit internet hotspots? Sure it might come in handy sometimes but realistically it'll just be another thing to run the battery down. Still, I'm getting the card soon and I'll tell you all how it works out...

I'm not getting rid of the T|E until Palm starts putting Imageons and GoForces in their PDAs. Until then, my best bet for an upgrade is the trusted Zodiac.

Is there (or will there be) a WiFi SD card available for the Zire 72 and 71?

Thumbs down No wifi for Tungsten E

I've wrote to the C-Guy manager and this is the respond I've got.

Thank you very much for your interest in our product.
We are still working on the Palm 5.x driver now. The exact date for the
    availability is TBD.

But I have to warn you that our card may not be working for a few
products due to max power that can allow to operate peripherals. I
believe "E" will be one of such.

    Sorry for the delay.

    The reason??????

    Hi
We learned since that certain devices have the peak power use limitation
and that restriction comes from Palm.

I am very dissapointed with Palmone.

One of my friends got a laptop for X-mas about a year ago (14.1", P4 2.2GHz [wish it were an Athlon], 64MB VRAM, 40GB HDD, 256MB DDRAM) and he said he would think about trading my T|E for his laptop! I have to give him all my softwares and stuff. When I asked him what was wrong with the laptop he said nothing was wrong with it, but he never used it because it was too heavy to drag around with him. This is the break I was looking for. As a full-time computer geek I'm trading in the little toys for the big guns.

My next PDA? Easy - Toshiba E400. Palm's support sevice sucks nuts.
