TE2 will not turn on
My TE2 will not turn on. I have to press the
reset button on the back. It takes me to the
screen to enter my password, but as soon as
I try to enter my code the screen goes blank.
It worked fine yesterday and did not change
anything just charged it up.

Re: TE2 will not turn on
Try a warm reset - this stops a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff starting up. Soft-reset but hold 'up' on your d-pad whilst you do it. If this works, try a regular soft-reset to return your unit to how it should be.

Re: TE2 will not turn on
I have tried a warm reset already. I am going to try doing an in-cradle reset
when I get home. If that does not work I will do a hard reset.

Re: TE2 will not turn on
When you say - 'the screen goes blank', do you mean a white screen with nothing on it or your palm looks like it goes dead with a dark screen?

Re: TE2 will not turn on
The power button will not turn it on. When I press the reset button
it goes to the Palm Powered logo screen and then to the screen to enter
my password. It stays on the password screen for a second and then goes
blank.

Re: TE2 will not turn on
Sounds to me like your auto-off (Prefs/Power) could be set to 30 seconds.

Re: TE2 will not turn on
Tasdisr - you are still not being clear enough. When you say 'blank' you mean 'dead', right? Not 'blank' as in 'blank illuminated screen with nothing on it'?

Re: TE2 will not turn on
Nine, sorry I did not clarify. Yes, by "blank" I mean dead, no illumination.

Re: TE2 will not turn on
I think you actually mean "turned off" rather than blank or unilluminated. Would that be accurate, tasdisr? From what you've described so far it sounds like auto-off or a battery with very, very little charge. You say you charged it up yesterday - is there anything thta could have activated it overnight and run the battery down?
