Default The application Photos doeas not start at all

I have several photos on my tungsten e. I have tranferred them with the palm desktop application and via infrared. They are relatively normal sized jpgs and I have check that the synchronization conduit is enabled. I can actually see when sysnchronizing that changes are synchronized. My problem the app. "photos" simply doesn't start at all. When I click on the Photos symbol the screen turns white and then black for a splitsecond and then I am back in the main menu.

Relocated your post to the E Series forum so that other T|E owners can help.

Have you tried reinstalling the Photos app from your CD?

Good point. The photos app isn't stored in ROM. The program may be partially installed, or corrupt. Reinstalling would be your best option.

I second headcronie. I experienced exactly what you are describing, and reinstalling the photos application on the handheld solved the problem.

    Welcome to Brighthand, asester.

This thread from early in the TE forums (especially posts #5 & 6) may be helpful. I've also had to reinstall Palm Photo to my Zire71 & TE handhelds in the past.
