Inbox to go won't go
I have installed the Demo of inbox to go on a Tungstan C and like what I see but I cannot get it to work very often. Once in a while I will get the e-mails from Outlook but most of the time not. It tells me there are none but I can see them and I put them there. on occasians I get the error 127a. The network is connected it says. The Wi-Fi seems to be okay. I went to the web site of Inbox to go and followed their setup but when I send myself the test email I do not get it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Inbox to go won't go
I don't know why would anyone want iunbox to go... Use versamail (included on your TC) with Chapurra pocket mirror (included on one of the CDs). That's much better than inbox to go. Versamail is an excellent e-mail app (it even opens .zip and word files!) Other competition for versamail (which you already own) is snapermail (it doesn't sync with the desktop, it only works wirelessly) and agendus mail (I haven't tried it).Originally posted by rjsinger

I think that you haven't received your own e-mail because inbox to go sends e-mails only when it's synced with your computer (at least the last version I used would only send and receive e-mails that way).
Anyway, why are you going to spend money on something that's worse than what you already have?

power
One thing I like about it is it does not drain the battery as fast as Versamail. The new version will down load from Outlook but it is a bit undependable right now. I use Mail Washer Pro to filter my mail at the server and then down load the good stuff and leave most of bad stuff delete. So I have two program operating auto but together (almost).

I use Inbox to go as my corporate email client and really like what it does. You should understand, however, that it is really designed to provide access through a proxy-server to e-mails on your desktop. Therefore, it requires a full-time internet connection to work and that your desktop be left running all the time. It uses a mail daemon to redirect all incoming email to the InBox to go server. To access, you connect to that server over the internet and new messages are synced (outgoing and incoming). It was first designed to allow email attachments to work with Docs to Go so it would translate all incoming mail attachemnts to the Docs to go format. Way back when it was the only email to allow two-way transfer of attachments. There are a lot of alternatives now such as VersaMail, Snappermail, Agendus Mail etc. So if you don't want to pay the $50/year cost of the Inboxto go service I might suggest you try those other programs.

In Box to go
I like the inbox to go so I think I will buy it and just use it connecting to my pop3 account. Unless I will have to pay for the server each year wheather or not I use it. Let me know if that is the case and I will stay with Versamail. Thanks
