Help!! Deleted Wifi program, need another!!
I got NetChaser so I thought I didn't need the original Wifi Finder program on the Tungsten C so I deleted it with JackSprat. Lo and behold NetChaser doesn't work, I guess it only works through the original program? Anyhow I need the wifi program which I believe is a little over 200k in size. Could someone direct me as to where I can get the program? Palm's website doesn't seem to have it... could someone transfer it to RAM and Hotsync then take the backup file and place it somewhere that I can download? Thanks!

Woudn't a hard reset return the files needed?

The program he deleted is in ROM; a hard reset won't help.
EvilNewbie, didn't you backup your ROM first?

No I didn't...
I deleted almost all of the ROM programs with the exception of the Address Book and it worked fine. That is, until I deleted Wifi and found out the wifi wouldn't work anymore. I erased my backups awhile ago so I don't have one anymore (my mistake of course... Murphy's law and all). Could someone attach a file here? I see an option at the bottom... One more thing... I noticed after I deleted the ROM files I still see them on my File Manager for example, I see "Calculator" application using up 1K and "Calculator_calc_appl..." using up 84B size. I deleted the calculator with JackSprat a while ago and when I try to delete them on the File Manager (of ZLauncher) it said it was in ROM yet it doesn't show up on JackSprat anymore? I can't say the same of the Wifi app cause I don't see one but it is true of the "Date Book" apps as well and other!! How do I get rid of them or should I??

Here are the WiFi ROM files from my EFIGS T|C. These should work for you.
Good luck

I will check it out in the morning from my PC and repost if the zip is really empty. Otherwise if you give me your email I can send you the zip file. I'm posting from my TC at the moment.

Hmmm.... found wifi files but still doesn't work... is there an alternative?
Sorry, for some reason when I opened the zip file with WinAce it doesn't show any files so after reading the posts I checked again with WinRar and it shows the files now. For some reason WinAce still doesn't show the files... weird... However, after installing the files which exists in RAM (can't move it into ROM for some reason) there is no wifi app in any of the categories. Is there an alternative or am I missing some file like the main app file perhaps? Is there another wifi app that doesn't use the default wifi apps on the handheld? I know NetChaser uses it so isn't an alternative.
