Suggestion for the next T|C 2 !!!
Realistic changes!
Remake the D-Pad. First, use metall (like this Sony MD player)
http://images-eu.amazon.com/images/P...2.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
I have used this MD D-pad and it feels nice, very tactile and very robust.
Increase the manufacturing-Quality (I think even Made in China things can be better than this).
More battery life (Treo 600 have a 1800 mAh)
Also maybe a D-pad located just below screen
maybe like Treo 600 Design (bot a round D-pad more
more like the rumored T|T3).
Better use of the D-pad and keyboard in the Palm progs
(use less of the pen).
Browser with more functions (...pop-ups and more...)

"Unrealistic" (ok maybe not for the next one but what will come)
320*480 Screen + keep the keyboard, possible to have landscape mode.
zzzzz....ehh..I dream of more things that I would like the C2 to have.....zzzz

Better use of keyboard!
I agree completely with better use of keyboard and d-pad in applications! This one is even software fixable!
Right now, it's near impossible to use any Palm App with just the keyboard. You can do specific tasks, but add more than an OK button (for example), and out comes the stylus. The keyboard would be MUCH more useful if you didn't need the stylus at all.

Re: Better use of keyboard!
Why would you insist on using the keyboard exclusively?Originally posted by RichNY

When there is text to enter I use the keyboard, if there is a graphic interface I hit the appropraite fields with my fingernail.
Fast and easy.

Stereo output and built-in mic for voice recordings a must.

I personally wouldn't mind the option of more keyboard/button control.
For instance if I am typing in an Address Book entry I use both thumbs to type. If I could use up/down on the DPad to move from line to line that would be great. As it is now I have to tap each line to start entering.
(of course maybe I am missing something here, please let me know if I am!)
Some apps allow for this (Versamail), but most don't seem to.

I agree on the SF thing.
I think at least Palm should release a
Update that allow more use of the
keyboard. And if you dont want it
they can have the option to disable it.
(Maybe they will after the Treo600 is realesed) hehe
Sony did a good work on the SF allready on
the Clie-NRV series
and they have allready included functions
that the prog OKey adds.
Such as highlight a current field by holding "back-button"
(another thing I think Palm should include).
Bluetooth is possible too. Thay maybe have to
add an extra antenna like Ipaqs series (those with WiFi).
Just hope that Palm Hardware/Software engineers look at these
Threads. Any way this is the official Palm user Forum right!
Hope that the Palm support guys look here too, they dont seem to know new bugs that comes up (WiFi, UT keyboard drivers, MAC.....)
Allways recommending (fullcharge---> HardReset...)

Foolish me, I was missing something. The tab key does this in the built in address book. I use Supernames. It doesn't work in Supernames. DOH!Originally posted by Shawn Parr

They should try to actually fix the popping noise. The last patch did nothing to fix the problem.
