Purchased a T|C despite the ?bad quality? issues mentioned in various posts because I have owned three other Palms and never had a problem. In fact, my 505 is still AOK. But the C gave me my first problem (in addition to the ?pops?). Hitting keys in the top row of the keyboard (except for Q and P) would activate one of the on-screen buttons at the bottom of the screen. In Address Book, this was ?Done? followed by ?New?. Turns out that the top frame of the keyboard is very flexible and it will bend and touch the screen below when upper row keys are pressed. Fortunately, I remembered the recalibration work-around to fix the ?dead screen? area mentioned in earlier posts. In this case, I wanted a ?dead screen? just under the top edge of the keyboard. I recalibrated by touching just below the asterisks, but this made it difficult to access the menus at the top of the screen. I guess the screen moved too far up and I was essentially pressing below the menu items. Trial and error got the active position of the screen just right. Problem solved. Now if I could only navigate the screen options in a way similar to hitting ?tab? does in Windows?
BTW, love the keyboard input ? no more three steps forward, one step back.

I also started getting pops a while after I loaded the MAC address patch. Didn?t have any before. I can live with it. However, I noticed that the unit ?pops? when the buttons are pushed on the keyboard tutorial. Odd.
