getting data from old tungsten c to new one

I have an old tungsten c with a cracked screen. I ordered a refurbished one off ebay. My old tungsten c data is backed up on my laptop (running XP). How do I get my data from my old Tungsten C to my refurbished one?

Should be as easy as 1, 2, 3...

Just plug your new T|C in the cradle and, when detected as new by your laptop, tell it to use the same user as your old unit. This will restore all your data and most of the preferences. Some things do not get backed-up during a HotSync so they won't get restored.

. . . for this to work, you may have to do a Hard Reset on the NEW TC.

Sometimes sellers forget to remove their data.
