Charging time for Tungsten C
Hi all,
I have tried to charge my Tungsten C and the Green status has been there for quite some time. I charged it overnight and it seems like the battery level is always somewhere showing Mid level. Can't get it to fully Charge.
My Tungsten C was charged from Flat status level, therefore how long normally it will take to fully charged ?
Is this the sign the battery is going to give way soon ?? Do I have to change the battery or go to the nearest Palm store to check my set ?
Thanks for all your help..
Cheers !

The TC's battery (or any palm's battery) should become fully charged in 2 to 3 hours. An overnight charge is more than enough for a full charge (but it's not harmful to leave the palm connected to the charger overnight).
If your TC's battery fails to get a full charge, try doing a soft reset while the palm is in the cradle (with the power adapter connected). You may need to tilt the TC forward, and use a bent clip to hit the reset button. it's important not to disconnect the palm from the cradle or cable while attempting the reset. After the reset, leave the TC alone (do not use it) for 3 hours. This procedure recaibrates the charging circuits.
If, after doing this, still the TC fails to get a full charge, then maybe the battery is near the end of its useful life, and you should consider replacing it (the battery, not the TC).
Also check the wall outlet, power adapter and cradle or cable for visible signs of damage, overheating, faulty connections, etc.
