    Question What LED?

Am I missing something? I keep reading about turning off the LED. I don't have any LED lit except when I charge the 755p.

I can't find any way to turn it on (not that I really want to do that). I guess I should be happy but am I the only one with this feature?

I have seen a lot of recommendations for LED off too. I feel like there must be essential Treo software that I should download but I have nothing so far.

MY LED will light up at various times like when I have an SMS message or a voice mail (and of course when charging). I actually like this feature and have no idea why you would want it off. Of course I have only been using this for a week

Since the 680 and 755p are similar devices. I think you are referring to blinking LED light when the phone feature is on, Milton. That feature were available to older Treo, such as 650. Palm has disabled that feature because due of lower capacity of battery.

I thought so. But I kept reading these comments. Thanks for the info.

Probably they made an error or wrong device. There is no way to turn the "blinking" green light, well at least on my 680.

Is that what it means...that the phone is on? I've had my 755 for over a month and today is the first day that I've ever seen the LED blinking green and it was doing it most of the time when I used it today. I know today isn't the first time I've had the phone enabled while surfing...

The only other time I've ever even seen the green led is when it's done charging.

    Lorraine,

Check your voicemail, missed appointments, todo's etc. You've got a missed alarm somewhere. Soon as you clear it, the flashing green light goes away.

Exit Zlauncher, and in the main launcher check to see if there is a flashing star in the upper left hand corner of the built in launcher. There's a chance you didn't tell Zlauncher to handle the system alarms.
