McPhling is a great app and works well on my 755p (I don't have it on my TX, yet). Here are some comments I made in another post:

Here are some apps I have installed on my 755p which I don't see listed above (sorry if I'm repeating any):

    Blocks v 1.4 (based on Tetris) www.electronhut.com
    GrxView
    kMeteo
MobiTV (it works, but I think it's a waste of time/money)
    MoePaint v 1.1
    mundu IM 4.1
    Plucker
snapCalc5 (This is a DA with its own launcher. I haven't decided to keep it -- I'm trying to decide how to run it since it won't run out of McPhling and I don't really care for its internal options)
    Sol Free 4.5 (Smallware)
    Sudoku (astraware)
    WWCalc (Weight Watchers)

DAs (Desktop Accessories) (note that DA Launcher worked, but caused problems with On Demand):

    Call Lookup DA
    CoolDAs
    daMemoPad
    HRCaptDA (and the HRCaptDM app)
SimpleClockDA (which I no longer use since CoolDAs has a clock)
    StopWatch

I just installed CMDway and it seems to work fine.
CMDway lets you control the Palm OS Commandbar with the 5-way navigator!
It costs $3.99. I haven't decided if it's worth buying (7-day trial), but if you use the command bar a lot, then this app might be worth it so you don't need to pull out your stylus.

I just installed apps already mentioned: Sharklinks (Brighthand forum is now a stand-alone app and #1 in McPhling's list) and Hide Applications Panel (good-bye QuickTour, etc.).

hc encouraged me to install MiniTones. I haven't tried it yet, but it's now on my 755 waiting for mp3's!

    Dang, I need more memory.

EDIT: I realize FileZ can hide apps, too, but the Application Panel makes it easier and has a small footprint (5k?).

MiniTones works great. I was able to move my 3 favorite rings from my 7135 to my 755p==>Layla (greatest rock & roll song ever written), You Can't Always Get What You Want, Our Man Flint Phone ringer.

LauncherX is also working well. I have a tab called "Unused" and LauncherX allows you to hide tabs so anything on that tab is hidden. Sort of like sweeping the dirt under the carpet.

CrashPro is killing my 755p. This is one of the best apps as it intercepts a crash and automatically does a cold reset. This is espescially useful on a device w/o a reset button! If it would work.....no more need to remove the battery!!! CrashPro was the first app I placed on this 755p and it IMMEDIATELY went into a reset loop right from the sync. Never got to open the app. Had to do a hard reset and start again. I know the problem is with CP as there were no other non native apps installed. Also, I renamed my Backup and Archive folders from my 7135 before the first 755p sync. I also used a newly d/l version from the developer's site. I have contacted 79bMedia.com but no response yet. CP when working properly also keeps a log of apps you were in when the crash occured. Helpful when you need to find which apps don't play well together.

PocketTunes deluxe is good but the other day it somehow made my 755p sound stop. I messed around. Reinserted headphone jack and could hear then withdrew it and it started sounds again. Go figure.... Robert, Austin, Texas

That is known to happen from device to device - and happend to my 755p the other day as well. Its not PocketTunes deluxe but a hardware problem - which is why reinserting the headphone jack worked.

It really $%#$% me up the other day when I didn't hear my MP3 alarm or my "tone alert" set for later that morning and I missed morning rounds

    I just installed Keyshades Hack.

KeyShades controls the keyboard lighting. . . .
. . . No hack manager is required.
(The keyboard LEDs). . . can then be toggled by holding the side button down for a short time -- normally one second. . . .
The new use of the side button behavior does not interfere with the use of the side button as a launch key. The side button can be released once the keyboard light toggles and the application will not be launched. Also, if the button is held after the application mapped to it launches, the keyboard lights will return to their original state.
I often use my 755p in the dark, and being able to toggle off the keyboard LEDs is a plus. Also, I would think this would also save a bit on battery usage.
