Problem with Call-Waiting on 700W

By now you probably know that Palm has issued a fix to this problem. For those who do not know, it is a simple software upgrade that works nicely.

Is there really a fix for this? Can you post where this fix is, or how to find it. Also, I just tried this on a friends Razor, and he can ignore the incoming call, swap and do anything. I am convinced this is a PALM only issue. Palm does not have a great track record with it's software across the board.
I also tried the workaround .. though I have the 700p and not the W.
