Hi,
I recently bought a used Treo 680 on Ebay, and I've upgraded it to the same (2.11) software that I used on my previous 680's (1 has broken screen, 1 has no microphone/sound output), but I can't get the Phone function to work. When the phone is Off, I hit the Green key and if asks if I want to turn it on, and I say Yes, then I get the AT&T Logo and "Hello" message and the sound, but the screen says "Phone Off" still, and there is no icon of the antenna (it should be next to the Bluetooth icon). Curiously, when it says Phone Off if I press the Red "Off" button (to turn off the phone), it says Hello again. Since I can't get the phone to work, I can't seem to ever get the Goodbye message.

I do have a SIM card in it, and that doesn't seem to matter. I've used the same SIM card in other phones (a Blackberry and the no-sound 680), and there's no error message about the SIM card, so I don't think that is it. I've tried the soft and warm resets, but not the hard reset, which I don't think is or should be necessary, because every other function works fine. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.
