Question, just got a 680, but would 750 be better for me?
I just bought the Treo 680 today, i've gone through the phone and am very impressed. I'm a 25 year old personal trainer who has ADD/ADHD so i need the planner and the organization aspect of the phone, however i'm curious if anyone would recommend the 750. The net seems to be a little on the slow side with the 680, I don't necessarily need the music aspect of the 750, nor the full Microsoft word program, so did I make the right choice, I can still change phones?
Thank You for any comments or advice!

Re: Question
Palm OS (680) is a lot easier to use for the novice and more intuitive and there are a lot of applications out there for it.
I own a 680 and find it stable and it serves me well. However, the technology is dated and I think that a 750 might be a better choice, especially if you have never used Palm OS or Windows Mobile before.Palm IIIx > Palm m505 > Palm Tungsten E > Palm Tungsten C > Palm T|X > Palm Treo 680 > BlackBerry Bold 9000 (OS 5.0.0.822)
What took so long?

Re: Question, just got a 680, but would 750 be better for me?
I have found the 750 with Mobile Windows 5.0 is a quite cumbersome compared to the Palm OS at this time. It's really obvious if you go look at the new devices with Mobile 6.0 with the faster processor. If you're staying with a Palm device, in my humble opinion you've made the right choice. Let's see if Palm comes out with a new Windows Mobile device next year.

i've had my 680 for almost a month now. been with palm for 8 years and tried Axim 51v and sold it after 2 weeks. if i were you i'd go 755p. i'd have bought it if it was available where i'm based at.

Re: Question, just got a 680, but would 750 be better for me?
I'd have preferred a 755p myself, but Palm cannot reconcile UTMS and Garnet as of yet and I was not ready to switch carriers. Since I just bought two Treo 680s (refurbed @ a discount atleast) I can't see myself spending more money anytime soon though.
Visor to M515 to T3 to T3.5 to TX (now a paperweight) to Treo 650 (another paperweight) to Treo 680 to Blackberry Curve 8900 to Blackberry Bold 9700.

If you feel hardcore enough I recommend the 750, in fact if you were to buy any Treo I recommend the 750 over all else.
If you're fairly new to these type of phones though, I'd settle with the 680.
Mack, Palm is in your veins.
I'd have a stroke if I sold my legendary X51v in favor of a Palm OS device.
