Charging Freeze Up
When I charge my 650 fully, it freezes up and I have to remove the battery to get it started up again. It has done this from the start, even before I hot synced it so I know it's not software issues. Could it be the battery or something wrong with the unit?

You might try an in-cradle reset.
That resets the internal battery charging circuitry if that is causing the lock-up.Digital since 1980, handheld since 2001

Just to clear up all misunderstandings:
an in-cradle reset is a soft reset while the device is in the charger.

Re: Charging Freeze Up
Okay, it's been several months. An in-cradle does solve the problem until I charge the battery again. Thanks for the recommendation H.
When the battery charges full, it freezes up again and the time when I "thaw" it is usually about two hours after I plugged it in to charge. Also the battery meter both in the Phone Launcher, Palm Launcher and also in ZLauncher never register past 99% even when plugged in.
Should this have to be done everytime I charge it up? When I change batteries, it begins to freeze up randomly. If I am on a trip, I must always carry the charger which defeats the purpose of having a removable battery.
Any recommendations?Casio Organizer (?) -> Paper Day Planner -> Handspring Visor Edge -> Tungsten T -> Tungsten T5 -> Treo 650
