    Question Voicemail number

While browsing this forum months ago I read a thread about the 650 Voicemail number reading 1 all the time. I finally have my 650 and now my voicemail number reads 1 all the time. Can someone please help me resolve this??? Its about to drive me crazy!!! Thanks for your help.

When I first set up the Tre 650 I was prompted for a voicemail number and stupidly also put my password in which has now changed.

Where does the voicemail number used when you press and hold the dialer key-1 get kept ?

It most certainly isn't the same one I have in my address book as this doesn't have the passcode in it at all.

With Cingular this number is sent to your phone over the air (OTA) by a Customer service rep when they configure voicemail for you. The field is not normally editable.

During the problems Cingular had with their Gemplus SIMS the number became corrupted, but now it has since been fixed with the latest firmware update. Call your carrier and tell them to resend the voicemail configuration information to your phone.
