    Welcome to Brighthand, Joy.

Click on the link below, click "phones", clig on "Treo 650" and pick whatever carrier branding your phone has (or Palm if it is not carrier branded). Should find manuals, support, downloads.

    Google (ASUS) Nexus 7, wifi+data (AT&T), Android 4.2.2, stock and un-rooted (so far )
LG Nexus 4: AT&T (Gophone), Android 4.4.2, stock and unrooted-- and probably staying that way.

    Welcome to Brighthand, Joy R!

I doubt that you should ever need drivers for a Treo 650, but there is another way of getting by so you would NEVER have to hook directly to a computer. If you have an SD card reader, find a copy of NVBACKUP and put it in the /palm/launcher folder on your SD card the put it in your phone. You can now back everything up to and restore from SD card (if you ever need to). You can install most apps simply by dragging the prc file to the /palm/launcher folder of your SD card. You should be careful about paid apps as some of the companies aren't around any more and can't generate license codes any more.

This is where it gets a little tricky. If you do need license files, they require a hotsync ID. The only way to get one of those is to sync with a computer at least ONCE. So you can get by without hotsync or a computer but if you want to purchase apps or want to back your stuff up to a desktop, you will need to get Palm Desktop working on whatever OS you are using.

    hope this helps...

There is an app called ChangeName that would let you set a HotSync name without ever actually HotSyncing.
