    Default wireless update

    Palm web site says you cant do a wirless update... but my hardwire hookup hasnt worked for some time now.. I've been syncing with bluetooth wireless...

    Question? I'd like to update to 1.20
    Question? Does a hard reset require a cable hookup to reset?

    I believe somewhere in the process it hard resets and requires an additional hotsync (at least that's what it does when I do the Wifi installation on my T3 so I assume something similar happens for Treo650 update). The hard reset will however wipe out your BT profile so it can not be used anymore at that time. FWIW USB hotsync is also a lot faster (and safer).

    What's the problem with your cabled setup ? Maybe that needs to be fixed first ...

    I had to use a third party cable dock, the hotsync cable that came with my treo wouldn't work properly.

    Why not ? As it is the supplied cable, it SHOULD work ...
